Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Hello,

First, thanks for a great system clock. I love it. It beats the hell out of Windows.

One gripe: when adding multiple locations, if the locations go off the screen (easy with a laptop, I can only see five-screenshot attached), you can't see the extra locations. You can't scroll to them, either, they're just gone. I am suggesting that you add a scroll like in the gnome menu to the locations, so that when the extra locations go off screen you can scroll to them.

thanks (and great applet!),
glass.dimly

This bug is particularly annoying for users of netbooks and the Ubuntu Netbook Edition. My 600 pixel deep screen cuts off the fourth location listed which is very irritating as I work with people in many countries round the world and often travel across timezones.
Although I am a newbie, if i knew how, I'd put my hand to fixing it myself as this seems to have been stuck in the "wishlist" for more than two years over in gnome-bugs. Ubuntu Desktop Experience team - can you push this along please?

@John: we're providing the indicator-datetime module for netbooks instead, not as featureful as the gnome-clock, but we hope better integrated with the panel, thanks to the app. indicator system.
