Bug Description
if you make the panel transparent, the clock becomes not viewable (if the
background is dark). though if one mouses over it it goes opaque. this is a
general problem w/ applet text.

I'll talk with an upstream about this but probably a WONTFIX. You have several
options here:
- don't set the panel to 100% transparent
- don't put the clock in a dark area
- choose a background adapted to your panel config
Not sure of what could be done on the panel side ...
