Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-media
I found two similar nonfatal visual bugs in Volume Control application, both in the tab "Sound Theme".
Bug #1
----------
How to reproduce:
1. In Sound Theme combo-box, select Ubuntu (instead of No Sounds)
2. Select a non-default alert sound in the list-box (e.g., Bark). Sound Theme combo-box now says Custom.
3. Select the Default alert sound in the list-box. Sound Theme combo-box is now blank.
4. Try to select another alert sound in the list-box.
Result: cannot select another alert sound until the combo-box is reset. The highlight bar moves to the new selection, but the radio-button stays on Default.
Bug #2
----------
How to reproduce:
1. In Sound Theme combo-box, select Ubuntu (instead of No Sounds)
2. Select a non-default alert sound in the list-box (e.g., Bark). Sound Theme combo-box now says Custom.
3. In Sound Theme combo-box, select No Sounds.
Result: the entire list-box control is disabled and grayed-out, the radio-button reverts to the Default sound, but the line of the previously selected alert sound which stays black.
I just updated to Jaunty beta, relevant package version is 2.26.0-0ubuntu3.
Thanks,
R.
Thank you for your bug report, I'm not confirming the bug though, reselecting default switches the combo to ubuntu there
