Bug Description

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

under edit->preferences->music there is an option to edit the preferred audio format. without restricted-extras installed the list lacks mp3 support. but if i click on edit i can edit "gnome audio profiles" and mp3 is listed there but whatever i set there... is useless because i dont actually have mp3 support. this menu definitely gives the wrong impression that there was some kind of mp3 support.

intrepid. i can edit all the profiles.

problems is that one menu lists mp3 even when there is no mp3 available (because restricted-extras is not installed). i have attached a screenshot.
