Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-keyring
I'm not sure if this is pertaining to seahorse or gnome-keyring, but I cannot get Intrepid alpha 6 to remember passwords. This is especially annoying for those 128-bit WEP-encrypted wireless networks that some of us are forced to use.
When I go to System -> Preferences -> Password and Encryption Settings, the dropdown box labeled "Default Key" is set to "None. Prompt for a key." It has no other options selectable in that dropdown. As I haven't used Ubuntu for a long time, this may or may not be relevant, but it seems to be.
I apologize in advance if this is a duplicate bug, but I could only find 24 listed bugs for Intrepid and this was not one of them.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Type in a wireless password.
2) Disconnect from the network (suspend/resume, or restart.)
3) You'll get asked for the password again.
So far so good in Intrepid other than this. Am I just kicking myself here or is this actually an issue?
Is this only for wireless or is your keyring broken for everything else?
