quadrapassel won't start: seg fault

Reopened because it still affects me in Ubuntu 11.10.
Here are the information you ask:

have the game running

Terminal outputs "errore di segmentazione" (a.k.a. "segmentation fault" in english), the usual command prompt appears and nothing else happens
