2. Select SMART Data
3. Push "Run Self Test"
4. Push "Run Self Test" in the next window
5. Disk Utility Crashes

Any disk, every time.

The utility itself doesn't actually seem to crash, only the window. Re-opening the Disk Utility program and selecting "View SMART data" briefly shows a progress bar for the ongoing disk check, before the window closes again.
