Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-commander
Currently, the F8 buttons deletes the files from the file system. For better integration with the gnome desktop, the default behavior should be to move those files to trash (as is the case in nautilus for example). Otherwise, users that assume the same behavior may get burned, by accidentally deleting a file, and expecting it to be in Trash. With the current version, it seems impossible to recover files that have been deleted by accident.
