When attempting to play an MP3 file(by double-clicking on the file icon in file browser (files are on an SD card))- totem is launched but claims it needs to install a codec to play the file (vanilla MP3 file).

I have absolutely no idea where 'karmic- desktop- remix' above came from - it should of course be 'karmic- netbook- remix' !!!
