Bluetooth does not work

Bug Description

When I open the bluetooth preferences the turn on bluetooth button is enabled. Clicking on it grays out the button, but nothing happens. Used to work on Ubuntu 10.09

I managed to fix the problem. The cause was that there was only a K (kill) entry in the /etc/rc.2 directory but no start entry. This has happened on two of my machines and both was fixed by the same commands :

update-rc.d -f bluetooth remove
update-rc.d -f bluetooth defaults
