Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome-system-
Gnome System Monitor shows free disk space for each partition when opened up fully, but doesn't have a panel meter for it.
This would be really nice, and I don't see anything else that does this. I am used to http://
It could maybe have a single meter with a horizontal bar inside for each partition that was selected by the user? I'll see if I can submit a mock-up.

Thanks for your report. Your idea might get more attention and have the possibility of being implemented if you submit a specification for it. First check whether the idea is already registered <https:/ /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +specs>, and if so, contact the specification's drafter about your ideas. Otherwise, you can start writing a spec yourself. <https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/FeatureSpec ifications>
On the other hand you might try the package "hardware-monitor" (from universe) it is able to display (free) disk space, and is capable of displaying horizontal bars as well.
