Currently, glib-networking
glib-pacrunner runs PAC files using libproxy. However, in libproxy1, the pacrunner plugin has been split off into a separate package (libproxy1-
I did not test this against a fresh installation, but it's quite likely to be the case as well.

I confirm this issue. In a default precise desktop installation, glib-networking doesn't properly handle PAC proxy configuration files because of this missing package.
This results in proxy autoconfiguration not working properly.
