Bug Description
Starting a program from the menus (synaptic, update-manager, etc.) will prompt the user to grant administrative rights. Thereafter the focus is lost for the program, i.e. it is created in an inactive state.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Optional: Open a window and maximize it.
2. Go to System -> Administration -> Synaptic Package Manager.
3. Type your password to access it.
4. Notice that the Synaptic window is created behind the maximized active window.
Note that this only happens when gksudo prompts for a password. If you close and reopen Synaptic, it will be focused immediately.
