Bug Description
Binary package hint: gedit
Whenever gedit's autosave function triggers, any inputted but not yet committed SCIM content in gedit is erased. The problem can be repeated using the following steps:
1. open gedit, go into settings and set autosave to every [ 1 ] minutes (to not have to wait 10 minutes for the bug to appear)
2. switch to SCIM input, hit enter a few times to make sure the document is unsaved, then type something in the language *WITHOUT* hitting enter. The text should be uncommitted.
3. wait about a minute.
As soon as gedit autosaves, the uncommitted content is erased.

Thank you for your bug report. The issue is an upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug the to the people writting the software (https:/
