Bug Description

Currently, when multiple files are open in gedit, there is no way to tell which tab is active (other than the very hint of shadow around the tab). It is very difficult to see which one is active.

Please see the attached image, it is very difficult to see which tab is active.

gedit: 3.18.3-0ubuntu4 500
ubuntu: 16.04.1 LTS

This is extremely annoying and still an issue with 18.04. I've tried fiddling with CSS settings bug can't get anything to apply to gedit for some reason.

Note that this is a problem specifically with Ambiance. With Adwaita the selected tab has a decent highlight
