Bug Description
Hello.
Gedit hangs (no interaction and then shadowed window) on certain content (attached) - especially when scrolling, for about 30 sec on 2x 1700MHz machine. I call it a bug :) . For sure text coloring function requires some optimization.
But forget about specific text, because anyway I have to wait 1-3 sec for gedit to contemplate what to paint and how, still having the issue from Ubuntu 12. Few seconds is not much but image how it slows programmer work... though I can't stop using my beloved gedit!
