Bug Description
The gcr package has no man pages, leaving me wondering what it is and how it works and why it keeps popping up asking me for a password but not accepting it.

Quotation:
"GCR is a library for displaying certificates, and crypto UI, accessing key stores. It also provides the viewer for crypto files on the GNOME desktop. GCK is a library for accessing PKCS#11 modules like smart cards, in a (G)object oriented way."
It is a library, thus it has no regular man pages. To read further run command: /launchpad. net/ubuntu/ +source/ gcr
$ apt-cache show gcr
...or read here:
https:/
If you are still prompted for password, than probably you have version 3.6.2-0ubuntu2 which has some bugs - to check it, run command:
$ apt-cache policy gcr
