Error when entering option credits

Fretsonfire 1.2.512.dfsg-3 is now in Intrepid. Could you please test if the problem still exists in this latest version? Thanks in advance.

Sorry to say little information. I tested and confirm this bug on Ubuntu Hard 8.04 yet.

I tested too Fretsonfire 1.2.512.dfsg-3 on Ubuntu Hard and the issue continue.

Thanks for your response. As fretsonfire 1.2.512.dfsg-3 has fixed a number of bugs, it would be helpful if you could test using this new version. It is available in the development version, Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex.

Are you able to test using this development version? If not, are you able to test once Intrepid is released next month? Thanks again.

I agree. I will retest the fretsonfire 1.2.512.dfsg-3 in next month (Intrepid release).

Yes, this is still an issue for Intrepid, version 1.2.512.dfsg-3

It's a packaging issue:

error: Couldn't read from '/usr/share/games/fretsonfire/data/songs/defy/guitar.ogg'

The package doesn't contain data/songs/defy which is apparently used for the credits. I also noticed that the upstream tar.gz also comes with songs/bangbang and /songs/twibmpg

Thanks for your response, marking triaged. Perhaps the songs were removed for DFSG reasons. In any case, errors are unacceptable.

This has been fixed in the 10.04 release, version 1.3.110.dfsg-2
