Binary package hint: foomatic-filters
For Oneiric addition of ICC-based color management is planned:

This bug report is the work item to add Richard Hughes' patches for colord support and for supporting the CUPS PPD extensions for ICC profiles to foomatic-filters. The patches are already applied to the upstream BZR repository of foomatic-filters. So what has to be done is to release Foomatic 4.0.8 upstream and package it for Ubuntu.
Bug 741448 needs to get fixed, too so that the colord support will actually work.

Principally this bug is already fixed with version 4.0.8-0ubuntu2 which is already in the archives, as there is no direct linking to parts of colord by foomatic-filters, only a D-Bus interface and the mentioned version is already built with it. To complete, and to make colord actually present, I will upload a new release with "Recommends: colord".
