Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

The player fails to detect the download speed and hence play in a hectic, sporadic fashion. It seems to buffer and play for a sec then buffer again...But after the video is complete, it has to reload the whole thing again. So hence, all flash videos are shaky at best.

As i recall this bug is related to flash 9 and has been fixed in flash 10.
Backporting 10 to hardy has failed a few times but there is still a bug open on it. to backport it there are more than just flash you also have to backport pulseaudio.

affects: firefox-3.0 (Ubuntu) → flashplugin-nonfree (Ubuntu)
