regression: flash plugin dies quickly with firefox/amd64

Version: 8.10
Linux egoff-desktop 2.6.27-11-generic #1 SMP Thu Jan 29 19:28:32 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am using latest stock installation. No modifications.
When I go to the "test flash" page, it seems to work.
When I try to use HULU (and others). I just seem to see a blank screen
where the flash plugin would play.

repeated many many times
