Bug Description
Binary package hint: apport
Not sure if this is from apport itself, or from the linux source package apport hook, but I've not seen these error messages before, and they sound rather dire...
salisbury:~$ ubuntu-bug linux

Despite the error messages, the bug report was filed successfully. The only issue I noticed was that it mis-tagged the bug (reported separately), but I'm doubtful that has any relation to this error message.
I didn't see these errors when filing this bug report via 'ubuntu-bug apport', so I guess this is either caused by the dialogs used in the linux apport hook, or else something that the linux apport hook does specifically.

Oho, I spoke too soon.
Immediately after filing this bug report I went back to the terminal window and noticed it too was full of these odd error messages:
salisbury:~$ ubuntu-bug apport
salisbury:~$ Error: Couldn't find per display information
###!!! [Parent] [RPCChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv
###!!! [Parent] [RPCChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv
###!!! [Parent] [RPCChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv
Error: Couldn't find per display information
###!!! [Parent] [RPCChannel] Error: Channel error: cannot send/recv
... etc. another dozen lines or so ...
So, maybe not the linux source package, but rather apport or perhaps even firefox?
