Binary package hint: firefox-3.5

When using more then one internet tab at a time firefox becomes almost unusable. extreamly slow menu and address bar use. Internet pages also load very slow.

Are you also experiencing Bug #1456326 ? Maybe this could be related and caused by the X-Server.
