Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

To reproduce:
1.open Gedit.(any text editor will do)
2.open firefox.
3.go to any website, I went to google.com.
4.copy any piece of text, I copied: "Doorzoek: het internet pagina's in het Nederlands pagina's uit Nederland"
5.go to gedit, ctrl-v, works.
6. close firefox entirely.
7.Past in gedit, it won't work.

You can obviously skip step 5.

I must say this is on an old version of ubuntu, I'll try it with 9.10 when I'm home see if I can still replicate this bug.
