Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
Occasionally firefox gets into a state where it fails to redraw its contents window when you click on a tab to select it. It does change the firefox window title to the name of the tab, indicating that it knows you tried to select it, but the content window remains the same. See the attached image, where I've clicked on the "Bug #354216..." tab and this is displayed in the firefox title window but firefox's content window is stuck on "Latest news..." (the Guardian website).
Once it gets in this state, it doesn't matter how many times you click on individual tabs, it won't redraw the contents.
Minimizing and restoring the firefox window fixes the problem.
I don't think it's a compiz (1:0.8.2-0ubuntu6) or nvidia (180.44) problem because it doesn't look like the normal refresh problems that compiz used to cause and because I've got the latest compiz-
I've only noticed this very recently, approximately since the Jaunty beta release.
