Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
I did try the 2 known environments variables MOZ_PLUGIN_PATH MOZILLA_PLUGIN_PATH to move the plugin path to another location:
Running FF3 even by:
$ MOZ_PLUGIN_
results in installing the plugins into the common profile path (not in the given one).
$ lsb_release -a
No LSB modules are available.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu

Codename: jaunty
$ uname -a
