Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
To duplicate this bug:
1.) open a firefox window
2.) open another window (not tab)
3.) Choose a window to modify the bars on and do it
I.E. in the first window opened, I turned off all tool bars and the status bar
4.) In the window you did not change the tool bars in, press Ctrl+D to add a bookmark
Result:
The tool bars in the window you did not modify should replicate the tool bars of the window you did modify e.g. all of your tool bars will be gone.
However, after this has happened once, it won't happen again until firefox is completely closed and re-launched.
ProblemType: Bug
Architecture: amd64
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 8.10
NonfreeKernelMo
Package: firefox-3.0 3.0.6+nobinonly
ProcEnviron:
PATH=/home/User Name/bin:
LANG=en_US.UTF-8
SHELL=/bin/bash
SourcePackage: firefox-3.0
Uname: Linux 2.6.27-11-generic x86_64
I need to amend my steps above to include that the tool bars must be turned on when firefox starts up. So if your tool bars are off when firefox starts up, and you turn them on, this bug does not occur.
Only when they start on, and you turn some off does it occur.
