Bug Description
file-roller 2.25.92-0ubuntu1 an archive manager for GNOME
Feature request for file-roller (nautilus extension) to confirm that the archiving completed successfully. This feature will avoid having an archive process crash silently, ending up with a corrupt archive. The confirmation message can also contain useful information.
I suggest the following confirmation message:
Archive has been created successfully.
Original Size: 100MB
Archived Size: 50MB
% Compressed: 50%

thank you for your bug report, that's an upstream request and should be sent to bugzilla.gnome.org by somebody who think that would be a good think, that would add noise in 99% of the cases though
