Bug Description
Binary package hint: f-spot
I just installed F-spot and am disappointed to find out the present version of the program is practically unusable. I am running 0.6.1.5-1 on lucid. All problems with the programs I encountered lead to an immediate terminate which is not caught by apport (this is worth an investigation too).
One way to crash f-spot is to start it and click on the import button (upper left corner below menu). Here is the log of the program:
nasko@serre:~$ f-spot

Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'f-spot' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
(Details: serial 3682 error_code 1 request_code 152 minor_code 19)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
aborting...
Trace/breakpoint trap
Any help is welcome.
