F-spot gives unhandled exception when disk full when importing images from camera

Binary package hint: f-spot

I get an unhandled exception when importing images from a Canon EOS400D camera when the destination disk is full instead of a "Warning, disk is full. Retry/Abort" dialog or similar. I get an error dialog which is not very helpful, see attachment.
