Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution
Few days ago (last Saturday) I switched from ubuntu 10.04 to 11.04 on a workstation. I made new clean install on the system partition mounted on / but I kept the partition with the /home folder untouched. BTW, I noticed that evolution in 11.04 uses a different location to store email, namely /home/konopka/
I am using IMAP.
My settings on the actual system have been such that sent emails are copied to a folder on local machine, namely to
Sent/2011 (as seen in Defaults settings of evolution).
Today I tried to view (in evolution) messages copied into this folder. I obtained the following error message:
"Error while Generating message list.
no such table:mem.
What is even worse I can not see content of one of the emails stored in the folder (more precisely, it is a file). It is an email I sent last Thursday (that time it was ubuntu 10.04 on the machine). It had also an attachment (a not too big PDF document).
If I view the folder (it is actually a file, not directory) with messages (using vim), namely the file
/home/konopka/
I actually can see the body of the email and also its attachment .
Then I do not understand why evolution can not display this email. It has nothing special in it. Other email around it are all displayed correctly.
