Bug Description
Binary package hint: evolution
The RSS reader plugin launches several 'tasks' for fetching RSS feeds (visible on evolution's status bar). The actual number of such tasks varies and depends on how long evolution has been running for. The network timeout that can be configured in the plugin configuration seems to be ignored. I can cancel all but one of the 'fetching feeds' tasks, that is, I can't even cancel all of them - the last one is impossible to be cancelled.

I'd expect the plugin to honour the timeout setting and not attempt to fetch the feeds when there's already another thread doing that.
