The messaging menu always says I have (0) messages in Inbox

Binary package hint: indicator-applet

This applet always says that I have 0 messages, even though I have several unread ones. Also, it doesn't notify me of new e-mails in any way.

I use Evolution.

In my case when there are any unread emails indicator applets shows the number correctly

It says it sets "Odebrane" (Polish equivalent of "Inbox") to 0 messages, even though I have 4 unread messages there and some more in several subfolders.

I am having this same issue. I have evolution running and set up with four different IMAP accounts. To test it out I sent some emails to these accounts. The emails appear as unread emails in the respective inboxes in evolution, however nothing appears in the indicator applet, nor does a notification bubble appear to tell me a new email has arrived.

Please let me know if you you require any log files etc that might help with this bug.
