Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
When opening a folder that contains some PDF files, nautilus generates both thumbnails of the files and a logfile (~/missfont.log). The latter could easily puzzle a lot of unexperienced users.

Thanks for your bug. That's evince which does the pdf thumbnailing, reassigning. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Does it happen with any .pdf? I've no such file on my edgy desktop
