Bug Description
I open a PDF document in evince, e.g.
s atlas_install.pdf
(I have the alias s='evince' in my .bashrc .)
I have also firefox running.
I switch between the applications using Ctrl Tab or using the mouse.
Steps to reproduce the bug:
1.) I have firefox on the foreground and the evince window with the PDF document on the background. Also the Gnome terminal (on the backgroud). The document was prepared using latex (pdflatex I guess).
2.) I go on the document (so it gets on the foreground). I perhaps scroll through its pages. Then I go on firefox, then click at the terminal, then on the document again and scroll through its pages.
3.) Finally I look at the terminal. It is messed by warnings like:
(evince:3378): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_menu_
(evince:3378): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_widget_
It is very annoying. Sometime the messages pops up with some delay and they interrupt commands which I am typing. Of course, the messages make it more difficult for me to read output from programs which I run on the command line (e.g. configure, make, etc).
Please note: developers perhaps think that people open documents using a mouse click on the document so that they do not see the messages. It is only partially true: lots of people open documents using the command line because it is simply much faster and much more efficient for them.
