Bug Description
It would be very nice if Eucalyptus could optionally use a database other than the self-contained hsql.
Perhaps postgres, or mysql.
This is a wishlist bug, just listed here for the sake of completeness, and/or discussion.
Per UDS-Dallas, the gobby notes stated:
* Move the database away from hsql to something more stable:
* ie, postgres, mysql, or ideally, a directory server
* hsql has reliability issues (e.g. db deadlock issues)
* hsql scalability
* upstream says: in principle, there's no problem with hsql
* other components in there (c3p0, hibernate, etc..)

Thanks Chris.
This is 'wishlist' priority, fwiw. Just a "would be nice to have"...
