Bug Description
Binary package hint: eric
In Ubuntu 9.04, I have changed /usr/bin/python to point to /usr/bin/python2.6. When I run Eric, I don't get a new window, but I get the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/share/
from KdeQt.KQApplication import KQApplication
File "/usr/share/
import Preferences
File "/usr/share/
class Prefs(object):
File "/usr/share/
QtCore.
TypeError: unsupported operand type(s) for <<: 'QStringList' and 'QString'
When I change /usr/bin/eric to use /usr/bin/python2.5 instead of /usr/bin/python, it works.
