Bug Description
Binary package hint: eog
For instance, I have a BMP file, open it, do "Save as", choose something other then BMP. Eog doesn't change the extension automatically, and if you don't change it manually before saving, the extension stays BMP and the file itself is also still a BMP file !
If I for instance change the extension to JPG before saving as JPG, it works like it should.
