Bug Description

The empathy contact list window freezes without a reason, even though there is no account added, and thus there is no contact list to be loaded. The account adding window can be opened and even can connect to facebook/msn account but the contact list just doesn't appear in the contact list window.

Thanks for the reply. The empathy crashes before I can open the debug in the help menu. I get this from running empathy-debugger in a terminal. Not sure whether this is what you need.

Hi, I not sure what screenshot you are referring to. When the empathy is launched, the empathy account windows appear asking me to create new accounts. After a short while, the empathy contact list window freezes even if I didn't respond to it. The empathy account windows still function normally. I even can connect to my accounts using the account windows while the empathy contact list window freezes.
