Bug Description
Binary package hint: ekiga
At the moment if I put in a regular telephone number in the format +12 3 45678945 Ekiga will not only play stupid and ignore everything after the first space, but it will actually delete everything after the first space. So actually ringing out with ekiga doesn't just work.

I suggest off the top of my head one of two solutions: a.) ignore spaces and treat them as if they are not there, or b.) check entered telephone numbers for correctness before allowing them to be used, then give guidance as needed.
