Bug Description
Binary package hint: easytag
I am running EasyTag to tag songs for album art so that I can transfer them to my Sony X-Series. I spent a few hours yesterday tagging about 500 albums and found out this morning that ID3v2.4 is not compatible with at least the Sony series (not just the x-series). After going through forums I found this comment:
Under Linux you can quickly tag your files with EasyTAG (a really powerful tool), but when you move your files onto the device album arts won't show up, and most tags will be messed up. For example "ARTIST NAME" would become "ARTIST NAME <- loads of spaces -> X", were X is a random character.. pretty annoying because makes every string scroll across the screen.
I changed to ID3v2.3 and problem is solved, now just need to go through 500 albums and remove then reattach the album art.
Thanks for the hard work

What kind of files were you tagging? I had issues with album art on Ogg files on my Android phone.
