Cannot burn dvds using any gnome application

Bug Description
Hello there. I can't seem to burn data dvds. I tried Brasero, Gnomebajer, Cd-DVD creator, K3b. All output an error message and eject the cd. Frankly, i do not know witch package is affected, because it happens with any application designed to do that. I'm using Lucid Lynx 10.04 desktop. Attached is a Brasero log of one of my many unsuccessful attempts. Thanks in advance on any help.
