Bug Description

I'm testing Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. When I execute the Computer Janitor of Ubuntu, on having tried to eliminate the obsolete packages, this failure(judgement) goes out for me:

"Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg exited unexpectedly"

After it was giving to myself this mistake Synaptic does not work, I nor can install/uninstall any package.

Thank you.

Can you give us any more logs, please? This isn't enough information to go on. 'sudo apt-get -f install' in a terminal should give you a more verbose error message to paste into this bug report (don't paste just the last line; we want it all), or possibly even fix things for you.
