Bug Description
Jaunty 9.04 beta
I successfully removed totem in Jaunty beta using:
sudo apt-get remove totem totem-common totem-gstreamer totem-mozilla totem-plugins
Because I wanted to use VLC instead. When I tried to view the properties of a video file (A .mkv to be exact), I received an error:
Couldn't load the '/usr/share/
It appears that it uses totem to create a properties dialog of the selected video, but perhaps if the properties dialog relies on the '/usr/share/

thank you for your bug report, did you restart nautilus after uninstalling totem there?
