Bug Description
Binary package hint: python-
Ubuntu package "src: python-
Debian package "src: django-auth-openid binary: python-
It seems that Debian have also package django-openid-auth, which seems to have the same project upstream code - but slightly different packaging.
The Ubuntu maintainer has mentioned that he wouldn't be upset if his package was dropped, but is keen to ensure there is an upgrade path.
So, we have a few options:
A) Do nothing until Natty (Keep both packages)
B) Drop the Debian package for Maverick, and resolve the matter in Natty.
C) In Maverick drop the Ubuntu package, and have a transitional package (due to the name change).
Thanks.
It's the same upstream version in both, so unless one of them is definitely
broken, I'd leave it for natty.
