To my knowledge, this involves the following effective changes: 1. Add the 'discard' mount options for the LVM logical volume (/etc/fstab). 2. Add the 'discard' parameter to the cryptdevice options to make LUKS accept the discard behaviour of the LVM logical volume ( /etc/crypttab).
