Bug Description
Trying to install a Canon MX530 on Ubuntu. None of the standard interfaces work - they seem to register (IPP and LPD), but the printer does not react to test pages or a simple text file.
Why is it so complicated on Ubuntu? Windows recognised the printer with almost no input from me.
