Yes, that works!

I tested twice, with a non-working ps in the middle just to make sure it wasn't some random success :-)

lpr -P TOSHIBA-TEC-TOSHIBA-e-STUDIO-Series -o raw printout_testpage_noncompressed_chris_nottf_20140325.ps
works!

lpr -P TOSHIBA-TEC-TOSHIBA-e-STUDIO-Series -o raw printout_testpage_really_noncompressed_chris_20140324_2
does not work (as expected)

lpr -P TOSHIBA-TEC-TOSHIBA-e-STUDIO-Series -o raw printout_testpage_noncompressed_chris_nottf_20140325.ps
works!
