Bug Description

Binary package hint: couchdb

It seems like the chunked encoding patched into CouchDB 1.0.1 with the patch couchio-fix-0011-ibrowse_chunked_encoding_streaming.patch breaks replication for large(ish) documents (in this case about 10k).

If you watch the replication with Wireshark, it re-requests the same document over and over again (see attached log) until it finally fails (after ~15min, quite a long timeout).

I removed that patch in my packages (cf. <https://launchpad.net/~mss/+archive/couchdb>) and now I can finally replicate my databases.
