Bug Description
Binary package hint: computertemp
The computertemp applet has an opaque greyish background that makes it look out of place on a non-grey panel, especially next to the CPU Frequency Scaling Monitors. It should have a transparent background.
Using Ubuntu Jaunty Jackalope 9.4 beta, but has been a problem in all releases I've tried.
Using computertemp package 0.9.6.1-1

I should note, there is an upstream bug report for this issue: http:// developer. berlios. de/bugs/ ?func=detailbug &bug_id= 11085&group_ id=6500
The comment recommends trying the latest source, but I can't get past autogen.sh (complaint about missing glib-gettext; can't find appropriate package).
